I fell in love with this unique art not just because its a mid century style but because it stood out with its unique shape and design. Each time I look into it I get to know more about it. Aren’t those speckles amazing? This handmade design and those speckles makes this stoneware very special. 

These tiny spots on this cups and pot are not part of the glaze, but its the result of iron content in the clay body. It is safe and charming., but its the result of iron content in the clay body. It is safe and charming.Iron melts at a lower temperature than rest of the elements, and within those hot temperatures, the specks of metal liquify and show up as tiny freckles on the surface of the pottery. It’s perfectly safe, And I think its pretty charming too!!!
