Fall Home Decor - Prepare your home for the cozy season!!!

I always have so much love for fall: the crisp air, beautiful colors, delicious pumpkin spice latte and—of course—new decorating styles and ideas for the home.

Decorating my home for every season is one of the reasons why I can’t  never get over my home, I always swap my décor so everything stays new for me each time when I take them out!! Below are some of my fall home decorating tips:

Add Layers:

Cozy up your space by adding a shaggy throw or neutral palette flannel blankets on your couches and chairs. Keeping the blankets within easy reach will come in handy while reading or watching TV on a chilly evening, putting them on a natural or straw baskets adds even more warmth.

Swap out pastels with some warm neutral colours:

Let your light, pastel decorations rest for a few months and try to add some deep, warm colors of fall. Whether it’s replacing the comforter on the bed or changing the pillow covers on the couch, use neutral r accessories to bring fall’s beautiful color into the home.

Fall wreath on the front door:

Wreaths are not  just for the holiday season, you can Add some autumn charm to your front door by adding a wreath decorated with little pumpkins, leaves or some dried eucalyptus or flowers. Better yet, try one your own! Best DIY try ever!

 Place candles throughout the home:

I am a huge fan of candle light and the happiness and warmth it brings inside home is priceless. You can use  Fall-scented candles to fill your home with the best scent of the season (cinnamon apple cider) but I prefer no scent candles more as I like to keep things more real.  It is the best add-on to help create a cozy atmosphere. If you can add some pretty candle holders (I love the brass ones) it will bring more layers to the look.

Fill your home with your favourite fall scents:

Pumpkin, cinnamon and apple are three of the most popular autumn scents. So, fill your home with them! Make a simmer pot with your favorite ingredients at least twice a week to fill up your home with the best aroma. Simmer pots are a natural way to scent your home and add humidity which is very much needed in winter to the air all at once (there is 100ds of recipes online ) Give the space a cozy, homey scent to greet the guests on cold days.

Create cozier outdoor spaces:**

Take advantage of these cool evenings! Add blankets, pillows and candles to your patio or deck. Build a fire pit for backyard bonfires. Head outside and enjoy beautiful, crisp fall evenings.
